Podobno zlapali juz wszystkich tych ludzi, ktorzy przygotowali zamach bombowy. Podobno. Takie chodza wiesci w Doha. Podobno to byl Egipcjanin (tak tez podaja w wiadomosciach).

Sie tylko zastanawiam – dac sie zastraszyc, i ograniczac wychodzenie w miejsca publicze, czy tez nie dac sie zastraszyc, i ryzykowac? Np. jutro chyba w Diplomatic Club ma sie odbyc jakas akcja charytatywna. Isc, czy nie isc?

Z domowego frontu:

Rozwalil mi sie laptop. No, nie zupelnie, tylko czesciowo. Ekran wysiadl, i widze jedna, wielka, czarna plame. Wpadlam na pomysl, aby podlaczyc laptop do telewizora. Poprosilam meza, bo sie na tym nie znam, ale zapomnial. Wiec sama musialam sie zabrac do roboty (jak ta polska kobieta pracujaca, co to zadnej pracy sie nie boi :)) Zajelo mi to pol godziny:

•  znalezienie odpowiedniego kabla w kolekcji 128 kabli mojego meza – 20 minut;
• zdecydowanie ktory koniec idzie gdzie – 2 minuty;
• dopasowanie odpowiedniej dziury do kabla (telewizor ma ich ze 30) – 5 minut;
• znalezienie odpowiedniego ‘kanalu’, ktory ‘gralby’ moj laptop (to jest RGB, jakby sie kto pytal) – 3 minuty.

A teraz korzystam z tego wynalazku (dobrze chociaz, ze kabel dlugi, to nie musze pod telewizorem kwitnac), i wytezam oczy, bo chociaz TV duze (46 czy 49 cali chyba, na scianie wisi), to i tak literki malutkie jak mrowki. Czesto musze podbiegac do ekranu, aby zobaczyc, co tam jest napisane….

A sprobojcie pokonac nawyk patrzenia na komputer, gdy z niego korzystacie, i patrzenia sie w TV zamiast…

All the people who organized the bomb attack are said to be caught. This is what people in Doha are saying. They say he was an Egiptian (this is also what news are saying).

I just wonder – allow them to scare me, and try to go to public places as little as possible, or not to allow them to scare me, and take  the risk? For example tomorrow in Diplomatic Club there is some kind of a charity event. Shall I go, or shall I not?

Home news:

Our laptop got broken. Not fully, just partially. The screen doesn’t work, it’s one, big, black spot. I thought I could see what’s on the laptop screen on the screen of TV. I asked my husband, because I don’t know how to do these types of stuff, but he forgot. So I had to do it myself. It took me 30 minutes:

• finding the right cable from my husband’s collection of 128 cables – 20 minutes;
• deciding which end goes where – 2 minutes;
• deciding which hole is the right one for my cable (TV has around 30 holes) – 5 minutes;
• finding the right ‘channel’ which would play my laptop (it’s RGB, if you are interested) – 3 minutes.

Now I’m using this solution (good job the cable is long and I don’t have to sit directly underneath the TV), and I’m trying to see anything on TV screen, because although TV is big (46 or 49 inches, hanging on the wall), letters are as small as ants. Often I have to run to TV to see what’s written there…

And try to combat the habit of looking on computer screen when you work on the computer, instead of looking stright up on TV….
