Menu:
– bar z taco (hmm, plackami hinduskimi, ale ludziom to nie przeszkadzalo za bardzo);
– chili (mieso mielone po meksykansku)
– i rozne inne dodatki (salata, smietana, salsa, guacamole ).
– oczywiscie nachos (takie chipsy trojkatne),
Zrobilismy tez quiz z wiedzy o Meksyku. Zwyciezca musial walnac kielonka tequili. Przegrany tez.
Fiesta is over. I think I’m getting old, because I have a headache every time I drink. I used to be able to drink all night, and then go to school, or work, or wherever, and now….!
It was mexican style, after all. On the walls we put big pictures of sombreros, cactus, and Tequila bottles, and a map of Mexico. Also we put there some interesting facts about Mexico for people to read.
We had latino music, candles, and stripy tablecloth.
Every guest in the beginning had to have a shot of tequila traditional style – salt, tequila, and limon.
Menu:
– taco bar (hmm, hindu flat bread, but people didn’t seem to mind too much);
– chili (minced meat mexican style)
– other extras for tacos (lettuce, cream, salsa, guacamole).
– nachos of course;
– various dips – salsa (bought), dip made of cheese and beans (I made it myself), guacamole (I made it of avocado, I don’t know how much guacamole it was, but it was eatable).
– Mexican style chicken legs (prepared by Magda)
– Mexican salad (prepared by Beata).
Bar:
– tequila, of course,
– Corona beer,
– Sangria,
– drinks based on Tequila – Colorado Skies (tequila, grapefruit juice, and Blue Curacao), and Tequila Sunrise (Tequila, orange juice, and grenadine).
People liked food, drinks as well, we drunk two bottles of tequila, lots of wine and Coronas.
We also had a quiz about Mexico. The winner had to have a shot of Tequila, the loser as well. Then every guest had to have a shot, so that the first two don’t feel lonely. 🙂
