Masala

Jeszcze pare slow o masala, bo mnie komentarze zainspirowaly. Mam w domu pudelko Eastern Chicken Masala (wschodni kurczak masala). Kupilam to kiedys, na samym poczatku, bo szukalam rosolku w kostkach, i nie moglam znalezc, wiec sobie pomyslalam, ze skoro tu kurczak, i tam kurczak, to moze sie nada. Nie nadalo sie, ale wkrotce sie dowiedzialam, do czego tego mozna uzywac.

A dzisiaj spojrzalam na sklad, i oto co tam wyczytalam:

– chillli, kolendra, kurkuma, kminek, czosnek, suszony imbir, kozieradka (!), gozdziki, kardamon, cinamon, galka muszkatolowa, sol, lisc curry, pieprz.

The comments inspired me so I’ll write few more words about masala. I have a box of Eastern chicken masala at home. I bought it some time ago when I was looking for chicken stock in cubes. I couldn’t find it, but I thought this is chicken, and that is chicken, so it should do. It didn’t ‘do’. But soon I found out how to use chicken masala spice.

And today I had a look at the ingredients, and this is what it says:

– Chilli, coriander, turmeric, cumin, garlic, dry ginger, fenugreek, clove, cardamon, cinnamon, nut meg, salt, curry leaf, pepper.
